Trinity Academy Before and After Care Program

Trinity Academy offers a Before and After Care Program to families who need a safe environment for their children before and after school.  This program is administered and staffed by certified teachers who are assisted by interns from the Caldwell College Education Department.  The Program is housed at the school.  Homework guidance is provided as well as various activities for the After Care Program.

Hours of Operation:

Before Care – 7:30am – 8:15am in the Cafeteria (Enter through the side door)

After Care – 2:45pm – 5:30pm (Initially gather in the Cafeteria)

Payment Schedule:

The payment schedule is divided into pay periods covering four-week intervals.  Envelopes will be sent home for each pay periods.  ***There will be no adjustments for emergency school closings or vacations.  Prompt payment is expected.

“Things to Know”

·        Snacks – Children will need to bring a snack for after school.  Please make certain snacks are healthy.  The school does not provide utensils.  Please label after school snacks for younger children so they do not eat them at lunch.

·        Children may not change out of their uniform after school.  However, they may change from shoes to sneakers after school.  On 12:30 dismissal days they may change out of uniform for the afternoon.

·        Please remind your child that school behavior rules exist after school.  They must be polite and respectful not only to the adults in the program, but to other children as well.  Parents will be notified of any disruptive behavior.  If the behavior persists your child will be asked to leave the program.

·        Please make sure that clothing, lunch boxes, etc. have your child’s name on them so that forgotten items can be easily returned.

·        Children must bring homework with them to aftercare.  They will not be allowed to return to the classroom.

·        A hand written permission slip is to be sent in each time a child is to be picked up by any one other than the designated person on the dismissal form.

·        Please make sure that emergency phone numbers are up to date on the enclosed Dismissal Form.  Please include cell phone numbers.
