Trinity alumni Hunter Kiselick achieved First Honors at Bergen
Catholic High School in Oradell NJ. Hunter was also
selected for the New Jersey All-State defensive football
first team. Congratulations Hunter!
Congratulations to Trinity alumna Annalyce D'Agostino on
achieving Honor Roll status at Immaculate Heart Academy.
Maria Isabella Pontoriero, a 2008 graduate
of Trinity Academy, was recently honored by the University
of Rochester. Maria Isabella is a member of the class
of 2012 at Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child in Summit, New
Jersey. She was presented with the George Eastman
Young Leaders Award in recognition of outstanding academic
achievement and leadership. Maria Isabella was recently
elected President of the Student Body for the
year 2011-2012.
Matthew Mullaney, Trinity Academy class of 2003,
College of the Holy Cross Valedictorian
Matthew has graduated summa cum
laude from the College of the Holy Cross, ranking number one in the
graduating class of 691 students. A double major in Economics/Accounting
and Classics, he earned a perfect 4.0 grade point average after four
years of study. Matt was the recipient of numerous prizes and awards:
the John D. O’Connell Prize for Excellence in Accounting; the William F.
Hartigan Medal for writing the best essay on a religious subject; the
Kate C. Power Medal for being the highest ranking student in his class
at the conclusion of his sophomore year; and the John C. Lawlor Medal
for being the top-ranking student-athlete in the graduating class.
A four-year member of the Men’s Swimming and Diving Team, Matt was named
to the Patriot League Honor Roll for each of these years, and named the
Most Improved Male Swimmer for the 2010-2011 season. At the conclusion
of his junior year, Matt was elected to membership in Phi Beta Kappa,
the nation’s oldest and most prestigious academic honor society. Founded
in 1776, Phi Beta Kappa celebrates excellence and outstanding
achievement in the liberal arts and sciences. Matt was also awarded a
Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship grant to Malaysia for the
academic year 2011-2012. He has chosen to join the Tax Department of
PricewaterhouseCoopers in Florham Park.
TRINITY GRADUATE HONORED AT WEST
POINT
Luciana Macaluso, 2008 graduate of
Trinity Academy, was honored at the United States Military Academy at
West Point on May 7, 2011.
Ms. Macaluso, who is a member of the
Mount Saint Dominic Academy class of 2012, was presented with the Dwight
D. Eisenhower Leadership Award which honors the memory and legacy of the
former President, distinguished general of the United States Army and
Academy graduate.
In keeping with the legacy and
mission of the United States Military Academy to produce leaders of
character who will devote themselves to a lifetime of selfless service
to our nation and communities, the Award is presented to high school
juniors who have exhibited exceptional performance in the areas of
academics, athletics, community service, good citizenship and
leadership.

Nicole Marie Kenny, Trinity Academy
Class of 2003, will graduate from Providence College, Rhode Island this
May as Co-Valedictorian for the Class of 2011. She shares this
honor with two other young women and has been selected to deliver the
Valedictory Address at the Awards Presentation on Saturday May 14th.
She will also lead the Graduation Procession on Sunday the 15th.
