Home School Association Meetings Every parent at Trinity Academy is a member of the Home School Association. And every parent is encouraged to participate in as many H.S.A. meetings as possible. The meetings are held the second Tuesday of every month, at 7:00pm, in the school cafeteria. (Please see the H.S.A. calendar for the specific dates each month.) The meetings are attended by the H.S.A Executive Committee Officers, Committee Chairs, The Principal and Vice Principal, The Director of the Early Childhood Center, a Teacher representative, and Parents. The meetings follow an agenda set forth by the President of the H.S.A which usually includes: an opening prayer, review of previous meeting minutes, president’s report, committee reports, principal comments, teacher comments, parent comments, new business, closing and a review of the next meeting date. The meetings provide an opportunity for the parents and the school staff to develop the home-school relationship. It provides a forum for planning and implementing a variety of projects that affect the school. It is an opportunity to be heard and involved. There are also two General H.S.A. meetings throughout the year that usually involve something informational and social for the parents. They are usually midway through the year and at the end of the year. (Please see the H.S.A Calendar for the specific dates for the General meetings.) Please support your H.S.A.! Be an active member and try to attend as many meetings as possible. |
